Meet the EstroFest Gals

Dresden is a comedian, actor, singer, playwright, and author. Among her favorite theater experiences: making magic with her hilarious EstroFest pals; creating and starring in the musical comedy The Cougar & The Cabana Boy; and working on the premiere of Two Tickets to Paradise: The Eddie Money Musical, in which she performed alongside Eddie Money himself and helped develop the script.

 

Other credits include fronting a rock band in the 1990s and acting in musicals, movies, music videos, and TV commercials.

 

She owns and operates Dresden Public Relations, holds degrees in theater, journalism, and communication, and is immensely grateful for her amazing life! Shout out to her supportive and handsome husband, Paul, and talented and comical daughters, Aria and Aurora.

Andrea Holland is an award-winning executive coach and two-time TEDx speaker who has convinced grown adults to pay her to talk for a living — which makes it more concerning that off the clock she can be found laughing uncontrollably when people trip, dancing awkwardly in the grocery store, and slipping into accents no continent will claim.

 

You've heard her voice on commercials you don't remember and e-learning programs she prays you never have to finish for HR. Like a gremlin, she shouldn't get her hair wet, be fed after midnight, or hang too long in sunlight.

 

When she's not working, she's in her garden, running behind her 7-year-old daughter, or elbow-deep in a home renovation project everyone agreed would be simple but no one has finished.​

Norma Holland is a dynamic leader and strategic communicator dedicated to creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and empowered.

 

Formerly Chief of Staff at the University of Rochester, she skillfully navigates complex conversations and fosters a culture of belonging with empathy and precision.

 

With nearly three decades of experience in broadcast journalism and public relations, Norma is a recognized expert in crisis communications and a master relationship builder. She is an avid volunteer and currently serves on the boards of the Alzheimer’s Association, Bishop Kearney High School, and Huther Doyle Substance Abuse Services.

 

She lives in Rochester with her husband, daughters, a school of fish, two gerbils, and two dogs: a pitbull named Bear and a three-legged Chihuahua named Robin.

Allison is an actress, writer, and visual artist. Currently she is the features editor and writer at the MV Times on Martha’s Vineyard.

 

Her artwork includes murals, illustrations, paintings, and three-dimensional mixed-media work.

 

Her writing has appeared in the Democrat and Chronicle, City Newspaper, and Rochester Magazine.

 

Allison and her husband, Eric, their two dogs Gracie and Ziggy, and their elderly cat Rumble live on Martha’s Vineyard —where they try to avoid gangs of wild turkeys who own the island. Allison’s daughter Story is the true comedian of the family.

Freyda is the artistic director and co-founder of TYKEs (Theatre Young Kids Enjoy), now in its 21st fantastic season. She also works at the JCC and performs in random commercials and videos.

 

She claims that her improv training at The Second City in Toronto prepared her for the past 17 years of work with EstroFest. In reality, Freyda learned many of her improvisational talents in the bathroom of Brighton High School.

 

Freyda can rollerblade while blowing bubbles and has never gotten mad, except once, while driving behind a very slow person wearing a hat.
