EstroFest: Fresh & Unfiltered
Your favorite sketch-comedy gals are heading back to the stage with an all-new show — and you’re invited to laugh ’til your face hurts as EstroFest presents fresh and unfiltered sketches and videos for one weekend only.
The popular performers of EstroFest are Dresden Engle, Andrea Holland, Norma Holland, Allison Roberts, and Freyda Schneider. They write the original sketches and vidoes, joined in the scripting by director Brian Steblen.
Hilarity will ensue onstage as lawn ornaments come to life; Bills fans realize what the announcer is actually saying; ghosts flounder in haunting a modern family; fun is poked at social-media influencers and phone-obsessed teens; cultural contrasts become comical commonalities for Bubbe and Abuela; and some of your favorite characters return to host an over-the-top TV show.

How it all started
EstroFest formed in 1998 and the debut shows in 1999 were immediately met with standing ovations, standing-room-only audiences, and critical acclaim.
In addition to regional performances, EstroFest has performed in Toronto and Off-Broadway. In Rochester alone, more than 30,000 audience members have experienced EstroFest's unique yet highly relatable brand of humor.
EstroFest was the brainchild of Allison Roberts, who had an epiphany after witnessing a group of women laughing together on the street.
She invited fellow original members Freyda Schneider and Dresden Engle to join with her in forming an all-female sketch-comedy troupe.
They dove in immediately, never knowing how deep and refreshing the pool would be even three decades later.
Allison, Freyda, and Dresden were joined 15 years ago by the talented and vivacious Holland sisters, Andrea and Norma.
